Artificial intelligence is generating buzz because of the tremendous opportunity it offers organizations for growth and efficiency. But that opportunity is often vaguely defined and, for a lot of organizations, the reality isn’t emerging through the hype. A 2025 report by McKinsey & Company showed that AI projects are having very little impact on either revenue or cost reductions for organizations – 30% have seen no positive affect at all and another 47% have seen less than a 5% impact on their bottom line.
